Paul Goss' Denver practice covers a number of areas, including corporate law, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, finance, real estate and property development, and natural resources and energy law in the United States and Mexico. Mr. Goss has over 25 years of extensive and diversified experience in complex business, real estate and natural resources transactions in the U.S. and Mexico, including five years with national-practice firms. In his transactional practice he has represented start-up, emerging and developed businesses in matters involving business formations, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital transactions, strategic alliances, bank financing, private placements, debt/equity restructuring, employment and licensing issues, international trade and real estate transactions. In the last two years he has provided legal and advisory services to clients in merger, acquisition and financing transactions valued in excess of $ 125,000,000. He has served for several years as General Counsel to a private Merchant Banking Firm, with offices in New York City and Denver, who provides financing and financial advisory services to natural resource and energy companies. Mr. Goss also serves as U.S. Counsel to a publicly traded developer of commercial and resort real estate projects in Mexico, coordinating their legal needs in the U.S. and Mexico. In addition to his transactional experience, Mr. Goss has represented clients in commercial litigation, arbitration and mediation, involving real estate, securities, environmental law, corporate law, oil and gas, mining, and class actions in both State and Federal Courts. He has successfully argued cases in the Colorado Court of Appeals, Colorado Supreme Court and 10th Circuit Court of Appeals.

In addition to his legal experience, Mr. Goss served as President of a publicly traded natural resource and energy company, who was his client for several years prior. As President, he was directly responsible for the development of a major coal-producing property in West Virginia and the acquisition, development and disposition of several oil, gas and mining properties in the U.S. and Canada. Mr. Goss also worked for General Electric Corporation as a Sales Engineer and then served in the United States Corp of Engineers as a First Lieutenant during the Vietnam War. Upon graduating cum laude from the University of Denver College of Law, Mr. Goss began his legal career as a law clerk for one of the Federal District Judges in Colorado.
