Biography

Mr. Schiff's practice is focused on real estate transactions and condominium and cooperative
law, including the filing of condominium and cooperative offering plans and amendments with
the New York State Department of Law. He also is involved with the acquisition, sale and
leasing of real estate. Mr. Schiff is a former Assistant Attorney General with the New York State
Department of Law, Real Estate Finance Bureau. Upon leaving the Attorney General's Office,
he was an associate at Raphael & Marcus, P.C. and a partner at Friedman Krauss & Zlotolow,
where he represented numerous sponsors in preparing filings with the New York State
Department of Law. For the past 30 years, Mr. Schiff has been the principal of Marshall S.
Schiff, P.C., representing sponsors, condominium and cooperative boards, purchasers and sellers
of real estate, lenders and borrowers. Mr. Schiff graduated from Union College in 1974 and
Washington University School of Law in 1977. He is admitted to practice in the State of New
York.
